These StarFall shoes are a laced Maryjane style with a star cutout on the instep. The laces are leather with metal eyelets and when you order a size 4 and up they will come with Toughtek soft rubber soles that are water, slip and heat resistant.

In order to get accurate sizing pleas measure the child's foot from heel to biggest toe and add .25"-.5" for growing room (personal preference).
